Wellness Wednesday: Do You Hate the Gym?



Your answer to the title of this post is probably an emphatic YES!!! Most people lothe getting up early or going after work to sweat with a bunch strangers in tight clothing.

I was definitly one of those people.

But I think my friend and crunchy contributor, Liz Cort, has made me a convert. Since I was the one who asked Liz to share her expertise about clean eating and fitness, the least I could do was try out her suggestions myself!

SO last week I took my first RealRyder Cycling class at Liz's brand new studio Fitness Fusion of the Hudson Valley, and let me tell you, my ass is STILL hurting from it.

Check out my first time at a gym since having my baby..er...uhh..*cough* I mean 18 month old.

Absolutely can't STAND working out. But I've got myself a workout buddy and it's really helping that we are able to keep each other in check. Not sure I would be doing so well in my first week if I did this alone.

love this - i went to the gym yesterday morning and hated every second of it. i'd much rather be hiking/walking/biking outside than strapped to the hamster wheel (treadmill).

Yes!! I would so much rather be outside too, but I also get bored doing the same thing all the time. If I can do this once a week and do other stuff like garden, run around with my kids etc. I'll be good!

Awesome, I'm trying to go to the beach this summer or go to a nearby public pool, I walk almost every day this time I'm going to try for 30 or an hour long walk also lift weights for 5 or ten minutes. Eat healthy snack like fruit, veggies and nuts.

Is driving while filming a video good for you? Hmmm.... :)

Good for you for trying something new and getting back in the exercise track.
