Part of shifting to a more natural lifestyle is the dreaded PURGE. The day when you raid your cabinets, pantry and fridge, comb over every label, and throw out all things with questionable ingredients.
If you are like me and my family, this purge may happen a few times a year, since somehow Oreo cookies keep mysteriously appearing. I really think the same elves that steal the matching socks are sabotaging our efforts to maintain a clean eating house. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
Let's face it, throwing perfectly good food in the trash seems crazy, but it's a necessary evil to create a fresh start. The good news is our bad food habits can easily be replaced by good ones.

Yes mine too! On occasion if we are out at a restaurant I will let my son get Sprite...shhh don't tell anyone!
